On this Fathers Day, let’s try to recall all the love, care and affection of our father; which we forgot to appreciate back then.
Let us remember how all our wishes and dream were fulfilled by one person; Our Father, who did all this without even saying a single word to us.
He toiled hard behind the screen to present us with a beautiful picture of life.
We always remember the love and emotions which our mother bestowed on us; with her tears and smiles, but what we miss was the emotion and love behind the tough face of our father.
Papa !! Hum bhul gaye is a Hindi poetry. It highlights all the love which we missed to appreciate during all the growing years to our father

Badhte badhte rahon mein,
Kuch yaadein yaad aai,
Kaise hume hamesha yaad rahi humari Maa?
Kaise hum bhul gaye unko hain hum jinki parchai?
Maa ka vo khana khilana to yaad raha,
Papa ke paison se vo ghar chalana magar bhul gaye
Maa ka vo saath khelna to yaad raha,
Papa ka vo khilone dilwana bhul gaye
Maa ka bukhar mein dawa khilana to yaad raha,
Papa ka vo raat bhar ghumkar, godh mein sulana bhul gaye
Maa ka vo galat harkat pe papa se bachana to yaad raha,
Papa ka vo sahi kaam pe, peeth thapthapana, bhul gaye
Maa ka vo har baat pe inkaar karna to yaad raha,
Papa ka har ek khwaaish pe ikraar karna bhul gaye hai
Ghar se dur jate hue,
Maa ka vo aansu bahana to yaad raha,
Papa ka vo dil se bhavuk ho jaana magar bhul gaye
Papa se “maa kaha hai” vo puchna to yaad raha,
Magar maa se “papa kaha hai” vo kab pucha tha vo bhul gaye hai
…..
Bachpan se jawani tak,
Maa ka vo har ek dulaar yaad hai
Magar Papa ke vo har ek pyaar bhul gaye hai.
Vo jinhone hume apna sapna banaya hai,
Humare sapnon ko apni aankhon mein sajaya ,
Ghar aate hi pehle pucha humare baarein mein,
Khaana khane se pehle socha humare bare mein
Humare jivan ki naiya ke maanjhi hai vo,
Humari zindagi unki wajah se bani hai
Apne aap ki khushiyon ko bhula hai unhone,
Humare chehre pe hasi unhi ki wajah se saji hai
Ajnabi nai the kabhi hum unke pyaar se,
Ha !! Bas thode bahot naadan the,
Unke apnepan se hum,
Bas thoda anjaan the
Aaj,
Yaad aai unki baatein,
Unki yaadein yaad aai,
Sang bitai thi jo khati meethi shararatein,
Vo shararatein yaad aai,
Nai bhule kabhi hum unhe,
Na hi kabhi unhone hume pyaar ki kami karai hai
Hume to humesha Apni shakshiyat main
Unki hi ki chavi nazar aai hai
